Cosy chalet, individually furnished, in a magnificent high mountain setting in the authentic hamlet of "Champagny-Le-Haut", surrounded by nature. Chalet with open fireplace and Wifi internet. Rustic and friendly furnishings in traditional timber construction. The restaurant "Parc National de la Vanoise" offers local dishes, ~200 m from the chalet. Easy access to the village centre of Champagny - with shops, cinema, après-ski bars, cheese dairy - as well as to the express cable car and piste by free ski bus (bus stop 250 m) or by car to the free parking deck (~5 km). Champagny cross-country skiing centre with 23 km of trails, ice climbing pillar and children's toboggan run ~350 m; snowshoe hikes possible. Depending on snow conditions, high-alpine touring descent - with guide - from the Bellecôte glacier to the chalet. Note: The maximum occupancy of the chalet is 7 people, even if more sleeping accommodation is available.

Summer info Sports activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, adventure trail, tennis, fishing and paragliding offer plenty of variety for young and old. In midsummer there is a mountain painting exhibition and jazz concerts in the St Sigismond church. The adventure course and outdoor pool are popular with children. The highlight is certainly the largest national park in France, the "Parc National Vanoise", which invites you to explore with approx. 500 km of marked hiking trails.

Ski information Altitude of the chalet: 1,500 m. Ski area up to 3,250 m with two glaciers. The free ski bus takes you comfortably to the top ski area of La Plagne - ParadiSki, one of the world's largest ski areas with 425 km of pistes and 157 lifts. Champagny is well connected with an express gondola lift and modern 6-seater chairlifts to the Bellecôte glacier and Les Arcs. Two lifts take you to La Plagne (Plagne Centre) via the Verdons ski summit. Snow-covered valley descent back to the village. A highlight is the 10-km mega descent from the glacier outpost 'Roche de Mio' to Champagny-Ort, with a difference in altitude of 1,500 metres. Plenty of deep snow options in the Verdons area and on the Bellecôte glacier. Children's/practice lift (free) and ski school area at the top station of the cable car at 2,000 m altitude. Also next to the mountain station is the new "Pic-Nic-Chalet" with sun terrace. Tip: The Paradiski ski pass for 5 days or more includes 1 day in the neighbouring 3 Vallées ski area (please note conditions); Courchevel / 3 Vallees ~20 min. by car.
