The sunny and quietly situated 4 1/2-room vacation apartment for 2-5 persons is located in the attic of our chalet with a wonderful view of the Diemtigtal, the Niesen mountain range and the village of Diemtigen. It was completely renovated in 2015 and offers all comfort and space with 3 bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area with a Swedish stove, a modern kitchen with dishwasher, oven, refrigerator and Nespresso coffee machine, a large bathroom with bathtub/shower, two balconies with tables and chairs and free WLAN. There is a free parking for 1 car directly at the chalet. The apartment is also easily accessible by public transport (post bus stop 100m) and is suitable as a starting point for various activities in the Diemtigtal Nature Park and the Bernese Oberland throughout the year as well as for relaxing.

Location description: Diemtigen is situated on a hill at the entrance to the Diemtigtal. Together with the church, the village forms the historical centre of the valley. In Diemtigen you will find numerous well-preserved houses, which reflect the carpentry of the past 300 yearsThe Diemtigtal Nature Park extends over the valley of the same name and covers 130 km2. The Diemtigtal is the largest alpine farming area in Switzerland. On 67 ha there is a strong, well developed alpine economy with a great variety of plant and insect species thanks to years of extensive farming.In summer the Diemtigtal offers many opportunities for hiking, biking and paragliding. In winter it is a popular destination for skiing or snowboarding, but also for snowshoe hikes and ski tours.Diemtigen is also an excellent starting point for exploring the rest of the Bernese Oberland, e.g. the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau World Heritage sites, as well as the cities of Thun and Bern.
