Lovely Holiday Apartment in Split with Communal Parking, Next to Diocletian's Palace and Beautiful Views
The modern and tastefully furnished holiday apartment is in a great location, right in the center of the Mediterranean metropolis of Split. In the neighborhood, only about 300 meters from the apartment is the Diocletian's Palace, one of the best preserved Roman sites of the world and under the protection of UNESCO. The city port with a pier for ferries, cruise ships and seaplanes, as well as the bus station are just 100 meters from the apartment.
The house dates back to the 16th century, when it was built on the walls of the old church of St. Peter, and belongs to the cultural heritage of the Republic of Croatia.
Located close to Diocletian's Palace, the Riva (promenade), the main market, fish market, restaurants, museums, galleries, theaters, cinemas, and last but not least the famous city beach of Bačvice, this is the perfect accommodation for anyone wanting to enjoy Split's historic attractions and daily modern life.Only recently (2016) generously refurbished holiday apartment right in the heart of the historic town of Split, with a private roof terrace overlooking the old town
The large, 20 m² roof terrace with beautiful views across the rooftops towards the harbor certainly is a highlight: Here you can relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.
The airy and bright holiday apartment is on the top floor of the three-storey building. It has been fitted with new designer furniture in 2016.
Featuring a living space of 76m², the apartment can accommodate three adults plus one child. It consists of an open plan living-/dining area with integrated, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms and a spacious bathroom. The air conditioned living area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, a wide flatscreen television and a table with four chairs. Next to it the kitchen is complete with dishwasher, Ceran cooktop, oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. The larger of the two bedrooms has a 160 x 200 cm double bed, the second bedroom offers a 90 x 200 cm single bed. Upon request, an extra bed for a child can be provided. The modern bathroom (also air conditioned) has a walk in shower, wash basin, toilet and even a washing machine. WLAN access is available throughout the apartment.
In just a few minutes walk you will reach the market (open-air market), offering local fruit and vegetables, as well as the fish market with freshly caught fish from the Adriatic. The apartment is surrounded by many restaurants, cafes, playgrounds for children, and cultural activities such as museums, historical monuments, galleries, theaters etc.
