This traditional yet also modern chalet is located on the south-facing slope in the picturesque village of Piesendorf, only a stone's throw from well-known Kaprun and Zell am See. You have a stunning view from this holiday residence as well as from the large balcony (a.o. overlooking the Hohe Tauern). The house is spaciously and cosily furnished, and has a large living room on the first floor equipped with a wood stove. You can enjoy your meals at the large dining table located in an modern Austrian corner. The large windows and the beautiful view bring the outdoors in while you stay cosy. The kitchen is spaciously and luxuriously furnished. Two bathrooms, one with a bathtub, are at your disposal as well as two large and charming bedrooms. There is wireless internet through the penthouse. You can enjoy a delicous barbecue or a nice Austrian wine on the sunny terrace. The chalet has two parking spaces in front of the house of which one is a carport.

In only a few minutes you are in the centre of the rural village Piesendorf where you can do your shopping, eat out, in summer on Friday morning visit the farmers market with local products and in winter hop on the free ski bus to Zell am See and Kaprun. Kaprun is famous with skiers as a grand winter sports resort. The Kitzsteinhorn glacier is open nearly year round so you can always enjoy the permanent snow. A second major skiing area, the Schmittenhöhe is located on the slopes overlooking Zell am See.

In addition to winter sports, there is a great deal to do during the rest of the year in the direct vicinity, with plenty of water sports options, rafting or wild-water canoeing, canyoning, walking, mountain biking or hitting a couple of balls on the beautiful 2x18-hole golf course which can be reached in only a few minutes. Popular excursions in the region are Salzburg "Mozart's city", Hohenwerfen castle and the Großglockner which can all be reached in less than 1 hour by car.

In short, the entire region has plenty to offer in all four seasons! Absolutely recommended for a comfortable and careless holiday!

    “Stark renovierungsbedürftig. Sehr dreckig innen. Außen wurde
    gar nicht sauber gemacht und es hieß dann dafür sind die Eigentümer
    verantwortlich. Was mich als Gast nicht interessiert weil ich habe den vollen Preis bezahlt.
    Wenig Geschirr im Haus. Und dann wurde man noch drauf hingewiesen das man sparsam
    mit dem heißem Wasser umgehen muss, weil etwas nicht damit stimmt. Kind hatte
    ein Zimmer im Keller neben der Garage.

    “Een top huis op een zeer mooie locatie met een prachtig uitzicht op de bergen. Wij hebben zelden een zo compleet en mooi verzorgt huis gehuurd, alles was aanwezig van literatuur, inrichting en apparatuur vaatwasser, wasmachine en zelfs een kaasschaaf ontbrak niet, iets wat je nooit meemaakt. Wij hebben geen tijd gehad om TV te kijken maar ook daar was er voor iedereen iets te zien, zoals DVD's voor kinderen en volwassenen en de nodige satellietzenders. De bedden waren prima en het terras en balkon was perfect, de hele dag de zon door de gunstige ligging.
    Kortom een topper onder de vakantiehuizen en een plek waar we zeker weer naar terug zullen keren.”
